Civil Branding harnesses the power of mass communication for social influence and brand difference. ‘Roll Models’ are generated using consumer opinion data, promoting the idea of a brand’s tone of voice being like that of a friend. A viral teaser tells the story of Civil Branding and introduces the ‘Roll Models’ while printed material
approaches companies directly. This leads to an online platform encouraging brands to interact more
directly with their consumers by forming characters.
